 We begin the clutter clearing journey with a space clearing session to release some of the more deeply held stress patterns in the home or workplace. As with any space clearing, you will receive a personal clearing as well to clear energetic “baggage” or “invisible clutter” that you may be carrying unwittingly.
This first session may take as long as 3-4 hours depending on the size of the home and the issues that are “up” for clearing. My fee is the same hourly rate as with any typical space clearing plus travel time.
The subsequent six sessions are two hours each at a reduced hourly rate plus travel time.
Each clutter clearing session that follows is geared to build on the one that preceded it. It offers a new tool, a practice clearing session of a specific area of the home, and a “homework” assignment to help you stay on track. The tools, though deceptively simple, are extremely powerful if they are practiced every day.
Each session might include an additional personal clearing to add ongoing support of the deeper work.
Even though it may feel as if nothing is happening initially, your success depends entirely on your willingness to practice the tools every day, and trust that on some deeper level there are powerful shifts taking place just under the radar of any discernible progress. It is critical at these early stages not to give in to the agitations of the ego – the part in us that is only concerned with our comfort and keeping things the way they are. This is the biggest challenge for most of us westerners who are programmed to expect immediate results.
At the end of the sessions, we will evaluate the progress and consider the next steps. This might involve creating a new six-week supported or self-guided program, or it might involve hiring a clutter clearing or organizing consultant to help you address specific tasks that you can’t manage by yourself.
