All personal clearing sessions are conducted via phone or Skype and last approximately one hour. Thirty-minute “emergency,” support, or “tweaking” sessions are available as well.
Before the Session
- Please email me a brief description of your intentions for the Personal Clearing and any challenges you may be experiencing in your life right now. Consider that by clicking the “send” button you are releasing all attachment to the outcome.
- Email all pertinent contact information: e-mail address, home address, phone number(s), and if handy, a photograph of yourself via email attachment (optional).
- Make your payment prior to the date of your appointment.
- Commit to support the clearing(s) by following the simple guidelines outlined in Personal Clearing Integration and Follow Up.
It is not necessary for you to do anything out of the ordinary on a clearing day. This work follows a very simple motto: “Support equals release.” Simply pay attention to your body and listen to what it needs. Here are some ways that you can support yourself during this session:
- Be in a quiet room and do whatever you need to do to be super-comfortable.
- If not Skyping, please use a headset or a speaker-phone if you have one.
- Have on hand a large amount of good drinking water, and plan to drink more than you might otherwise today and in the days that follow. Clearing is very dehydrating.
- Plan to take it easy for the rest of the day. If you feel more tired than usual, take it as a sign to REST.
Here are some ways to support this work in the days and weeks following a session:
- Let go of attachment to the outcome: Sometimes the clearing work is very subtle, sometimes very BIG. Sometimes the openings feel terrific, sometimes not so comfortable. Allow any and all experiences – pleasant and not-so-pleasant – to surface without doing anything to fix, manage, or change them. If things feel a little uncomfortable, remember it takes time for the “Velcro” grip of your holding patterns to soften and release. Patterns that you’ve been carrying all your life have a way of coming in waves – of expansion and contraction – not that different than what happens when a high pressure weather system moves into a pre-existing low pressure one. As your nervous system adjusts to the new frequencies, the “weather” you’ve been experiencing will eventually cease to exist because there is nothing in you for the patterns to stick. The less attached and identified you can be to the outcome, the quicker this weather will pass.

- Keep a journal [Optional]: Once a pattern is released it is difficult to remember what life used to be like before the clearing work began. Writing down the shifts, synchronicities, or ah-has you are experiencing, no matter how subtle and insignificant they may seem, is a great way to witness, and acknowledge, the changes that may be occurring for you.
- Report any shifts: I love knowing how this deep, subtle work moves through in peoples’ lives. Feel free to share any insights, ah-has, or shifts that you may be experiencing as a result of the clearing.
Timing of Clearings
Some people receive just one clearing, and some like to receive clearings at regular intervals to support their ongoing journey of self-discovery. Some require an “emergency” session to help release built-up stress patterns that have become so uncomfortable or even painful. Whatever feels right to you is perfect.
Personal Clearings sometimes have a way of bringing up “the weather.” These resisting behaviors are a normal part of the journey and a very good sign that things are shifting for you. To help you meet these, or any potential side-effects with equanimity and spacious detachment, please read:
