The master bedroom has French doors leading to a plant-screened terrace, with a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, and tiled bath and shower. The fully tiled deep tub easily fits two — just light the candles and relax! The rear bedroom has twin beds, step-out balcony windows overlooking the pomegranate tree, a walk-in closet, and tiled bath and shower. The house — Casa del Granado — takes its name from this tree. Both bedrooms have private stairways to joining rooftop terraces with extraordinary views of the Parroquia and town, lake, mountains, and sunsets. Lie in the sun on chaise lounges or sit in shade under the tiled roof set atop four cantera columns. You’ll love your choices for relaxation and enjoyment throughout this thoroughly modern home with 18th century walls. In the living room you’ll find overstuffed sofas and chairs, a hand-built fireplace, and thick, warmly colored walls. In the dining room you may gather for meals at a round parquet-topped table. The brightly tiled kitchen is ready for cooking or for being served. A winding path from the entrance foyer leads through a bamboo grove to a stone patio under the spreading pomegranate tree, by a sprinkling tile and stone fountain. There is parking on the street and a supervised facility is close by. Lucy, the maid, comes to clean and change the linens. She can also cook for you.
